BPV Grigorescu Stefanica, working with Friedrich Graf von Westphalen & Partner, has advised Motherson on the acquisition of Nexans Autoelectric’s global wiring harness business, for an enterprise value of EUR 207 million on a cash-free and debt-free basis. BPV Huegel and BPV Braun Partners reportedly advised Motherson as well.

The transaction remains subject to regulatory approval.

According to BPV Grigorescu Stefanica, the acquisition significantly expands Motherson’s global footprint in automotive wiring solutions. For Motherson, one of the world’s top 15 automotive suppliers with operations in 47 countries, the transaction reinforces its position in design, engineering, manufacturing, and assembly for the automotive and transport industries.

The BPV Grigorescu Stefanica team included Managing Partner Catalin Grigorescu, Partner Iulia Dragomir, Managing Associates Raluca Marcu and Alina Tyelu, Senior Associates Roxana Daskalu and Antonia Coman, and Associates Matei Tomi, Laurentiu Lungu, Diana Ciubotaru, Alexandra Modrogeanu, and Theodor Serbanescu.
