Jasinski has successfully represented TF Bank in a case resulting in a final and binding court judgment confirming the bank’s full compliance with information disclosure obligations under the Polish Consumer Credit Act.

According to Jasinski, the second instance court reaffirmed that the borrower had been properly informed regarding the APR, total payable amount, and withdrawal procedures and that the contract clearly distinguished between interest and commission. The accompanying information form was also found to contain the necessary definitions and explanations, ensuring the borrower made an informed decision. As such, the court rejected any grounds for applying the so-called “free credit sanction,” reinforcing the legality of TF Bank’s practices.

The Jasinski team included Counsels Maciej Lidzbarski and Kamila Deczkowska and Associate Amanda Grzybowska.
