Cobalt Advises Aspo on Sale of Leipurin to Lantmannen

Cobalt has advised Aspo on the sale of its Leipurin business to Lantmannen in a transaction valuing Leipurin at EUR 63 million. Castren & Snellman advised Lantmannen.

The transaction remains contingent on regulatory approval.

According to Cobalt, Leipurin supplies food ingredients and related services to the bakery, food industry, and food service sectors in Finland, Sweden, and the Baltics, and employs approximately 160 people. Lantmannen is a Nordic agricultural cooperative active in agriculture, machinery, bioenergy, and food products. 

The Cobalt team included Estonia-based Partner Jesse Kivisaari, Managing Associate Mart Blondal, and Senior Associate Liina Saaremets, Latvia-based Senior Associate Martins Tarlaps, and Lithuania-based Senior Associate Manvydas Borusas and Associate Aurimas Drumstas.
