A new Vienna-based law firm, HYLT, has been launched by Tugce Yalcin and Dimitar Hristov.
The firm focuses on cross-border corporate, tax, and dispute-related matters.
Before setting up HYLT, Yalcin worked for Taylor Wessing as a Counsel and Head of CEE Turkish Desk from 2023 to 2025. Earlier, she worked for DLA Piper as an Associate from 2016 to 2019 and as a Senior Consultant from 2019 to 2023. Earlier still, she worked as an Associate for Harrer & Harrer in 2016, as a Lawyer for Baker McKenzie in 2015, as an Associate for Raits Bleiziffer in 2015, and as a Lawyer for the Austrian Regional and District Court in 2014.
Before teaming up with Yalcin, Hristov worked for DLA Piper as a Partner from 2018 to 2025 while also leading the Austrian Tax Department and serving as the firm's Money Laundering Reporting Officer in Austria for five years. Earlier, he worked for Leitner as a Director (Tax) from 2012 to 2018. Earlier still, he worked for Kerschbaum Partner as a Trainee Lawyer from 2008 to 2012.
The HYLT team also includes Attorney at Law Hanita Veljan, who, according to the firm, advises on national and international family law and dispute resolution matters.
