Schoenherr has advised Bell Food Group on the sale of its Eisberg business units in Poland, Romania, and Hungary to Green Factory.
Bell Food Group is a Swiss food supplier operating in 14 countries under brands including Bell, Hubers, Eisberg, Hilcona, and Hugli.
The Eisberg business specializes in fresh products such as chopped salads, herbs, and pre-cut produce for retailers and wholesalers. According to Schoenherr, the transaction does not include Eisberg’s plants in Switzerland and Austria or its Spanish purchasing company. Following the divestment, Eisberg will focus on its core DACH markets.
Green Factory operates across Central Europe, with facilities in Poland, Hungary, Lithuania, and Ukraine, and will continue to operate the acquired sites, taking on all Eisberg employees.
The Schoenherr team included Partners Christoph Haid, Marcin Czaprowski, Szymon Okon, Katarzyna Solarz-Wlodarska, Monica Cojocaru, Kinga Hetenyi, and Georgiana Badescu, Counsel Pawel Kulak, Managing Attorneys at Law Vlad Cordea and Cristiana Manea, and Attorney at Law Adrian Menczelesz.
Schoenherr did not respond to our inquiry on the matter.
