DZP has appointed Magdalena Skowronska as its new Head of the Capital Markets and Financial Institutions Practice.

Skowronska has been with the firm since 1999, when she joined as a Senior Associate. She became a Partner in 2008. Earlier, she worked for Furtek Palinka Zielinski as a Lawyer from 1997 to 1999 and for BRE Bank as a Junior Lawyer from 1995 to 1997.

“Over the years, Magda has built up her authority by taking responsibility for the cases handled, for the team and for the direction of the practice's development," said Partner Andrzej Foltyn, who previously headed the CM&FI Practice. "Her appointment as Head of Practice is a natural consequence of this path and a testament to the trust she enjoys. I am confident that under her leadership, the practice will develop in a consistent, mature, and long-term manner."
