Before DLA Piper, he worked with CMS, first as an Associate between 2007 and 2015 and a Partner between 2015 and 2019. Earlier still, he was a Junior Associate with Baker McKenzie.

Staniszewski also joins from Dentons, where he was co-heading the firm's construction practice. Staniszewski has been with Dentons since 2012 and has been a Partner with the firm since 2018 (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on April 9, 2018). Before Dentons, he was a Senior Associate with CMS between 2006 and 2012 and an Associate with Beiten Burkhardt between 2004 and 2006.

Jodkowski is joining from Greenberg Traurig, where he was Shareholder in the Warsaw real estate department. Jodkowski joined Greenberg Traurig in 2021 (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on December 8, 2021) and became a shareholder with the firm in 2023 (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on March 9, 2023). Before that, Jodkowski spent almost four years with Linklaters, a year with PwC Legal, and almost 11 years with Dentons.

Zagorski, who specializes in corporate/M&A, is joining from CMS, which he first joined in 2006 and where he made Partner in 2018 (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on May 7, 2018). "Further scaling up our capabilities in Europe in order to meet the evolving needs of our clients remains a strategic objective for us." commented Pinsent Masons Senior Partner Andrew Masraf. "Poland, as one of Europe’s most resilient and dynamic economies, adds a valuable component to our pan-European offering. It is a key market for a number of our clients, particularly those in Western Europe, and remains an important investment destination in Central and Eastern Europe. We’re launching with a stellar founding team whose reputation precedes them in the Polish market. They possess an extraordinary breadth of expertise, complemented by a long-standing collegiate relationship. Most importantly, they embody the mindset that drives our people to deliver differently; they’re forward-thinking, collaborative, and recognize the value of connectivity in a global business."

“The Polish market presents a major opportunity for international firms, with Warsaw becoming increasingly recognised as a legal and commercial hub in the CEE region," added Kordeczka. "Pinsent Masons already has a strong network of European offices, and this expansion into Poland provides another dimension for supporting the cross-border needs of its clients.  I’ve known and worked with our founding team for a number of years, so I can speak on behalf of us all in saying that collectively we have the shared ambition and tenacity to establish Pinsent Masons as a market leader in Poland and CEE."

"Warsaw serves as a strategic base for managing English-law governed transactions across CEE, with substantial demand for M&A, banking and real estate services," said Marcinkowski. "Our founding team brings extensive experience in all of these areas, setting us in excellent stead to integrate with Pinsent Masons' multi-national network and deliver against both local and international client needs."
