PeliPartners has advised Saint-Gobain in acquiring the Romanian Duraziv Group. Popovici Nitu Stoica & Asociatii advised the seller.

According to PeliPartners, the deal, which started as a competitive bid and was closed at the end of September, "confirms that the Romanian M&A market remains active and relevant at a European level."

Established in 2003 under the original brand of Bau Profil, Duraziv specializes in paints and related construction materials. The company reported approximately EUR 24 million in revenue in 2017.

The PeliPartners transactional team was led by Partner Carmen Peli, Senior Associate Andreea Carare, and Associate Adelina Iordache and consisted of 15 lawyers across various departments. Peli together with Senior Associate Oana Bucsa coordinated the competition clearance process.

The PNSA team was led by Partner Silviu Stoica and Managing Associate Vlad Ambrozie.
