Musat & Asociatii has advised Catted on the sale of the logistics park Business Park Chitila and a further 45,000 square meters of land to real estate developer Globalworth.

Catted is a Romanian logistics and warehousing company. Business Park Chitila has a total leasable area of 7,000 square meters. Globalworth is a real estate investment company.

According to Globalworth, this is the first step of a "strategic partnership with Catted for the light industry and logistics area, mainly focused on the small business units segment. The partnership, with Globalworth as the majority shareholder, initially involves the acquisition of land of approximately 45,000 square meters in Stefanesti, ideal for a logistics development, as well as the takeover of a small business units logistics project previously developed by Catted in Chitila."

According to Musat & Asociatii, “with this strategic partnership, Catted and Globalworth aim to strengthen their offering for small and medium-sized businesses who look for tailored, modern warehousing solutions and small leasable business units, by developing on the newly acquired land a new logistics park with three industrial facilities with a total leasable area of 18,000 square meters.”

Musat & Asociatii’s team included Partner Monia Dobrescu, Managing Associate Madalina Trifan, and Senior Associate Cristian Cepesi.

Musat & Asociatii could not provide additional information on the deal.
