Tuca Zbarcea & Asociatii has advised on the launch of the EUR 1 billion DraculaLand project in Romania.
DraculaLand is an entertainment, retail, and tech project planned near Bucharest. The project is being developed by a private initiative, founded by Romanian real estate investor Dragos Dobrescu and co-founded by George Toader.
"In our work, we come across many exciting investment ideas. However, very few of them actually go beyond mere drawings, figures, and good intentions to become drivers for change within a country," commented Tuca Zbarcea & Asociatii Managing Partner Florentin Tuca. "For this reason, we decided to be involved in this unique initiative: DraculaLand. It’s an intricate project covering sophisticated financial, legal, urban planning matters, but it also has a special goal: to show that Romania can build a European landmark, a destination where culture, innovation, and the business spirit converge in a coherent vision. For us, DraculaLand is a great example of entrepreneurial courage combined with strict legal discipline and careful execution. It is a model of collaboration in which the founders' vision is supported by a solid structure that is designed to last and further expand. We are proud to be part of this project and provide professional legal assistance services. DraculaLand is not just a massive-scale investment. It sends out a strong message about trust, eligibility, and about Romania’s capacity to develop projects that stand out at an international level."
The firm will continue to offer legal assistance as the project develops.
The Tuca Zbarcea & Asociatii team included Tuca and Partner Razvan Gheorghiu-Testa.
