Sayenko Kharenko has advised the International Finance Corporation on a risk-sharing facility with PrivatBank.
PrivatBank is Ukraine’s largest bank. According to Sayenko Kharenko, under the terms of the facility, the IFC will share 50% of the risk on an aggregate EUR 100 million portfolio to expand MSME lending across agribusiness, manufacturing, and logistics. The facility includes a performance-based incentive to boost lending to women-owned MSMEs, expected to comprise about 35% of the portfolio, and is supported by France and the Netherlands through IFC’s Economic Resilience Action Program for Ukraine.
The Sayenko Kharenko team included Partner Igor Lozenko and Senior Associate Oles Trachuk.
