Sayenko Kharenko has advised Piraeus Bank on the reverse merger with its parent company Piraeus Financial Holdings.
According to Sayenko Kharenko, as a result of the transaction, Piraeus Bank became the universal successor to all rights, assets, claims, and obligations of Piraeus Financial Holdings, including its majority shareholding in JSC Piraeus Bank ICB. The bank's shares commenced trading on the Athens Stock Exchange under the new corporate structure, aligning the group with its updated strategic objectives.
The Sayenko Kharenko team included Partners Oleksandr Nikolaichyk and Volodymyr Sayenko, Counsel Igor Pomaz, Senior Associate Tetiana Dyvak, and Associate Marian Mokryk.
