CMS has advised energy company Iberdrola on the sale of Eolica Dobrogea One – an 80-megawatt wind energy production facility – to Premier Energy Group, for EUR 88 million.

The transaction remains contingent on regulatory approval.

Premier Energy Group is an energy consulting and brokering company with headquarters in Middlesex, New Jersey.

According to CMS, "this deal marks Iberdrola’s full exit from the Romanian market, as part of their strategic plan to divest non-core assets."

The CMS team included Managing Partner Horea Popescu, Counsel Mircea Moraru, and Senior Associates Horia Draghici and Andrei Cristescu.

CMS did not respond to our inquiry on the matter.
