Sorainen has advised Edel Offshore Wind on developing offshore wind farms in Estonia, including participation in the auctions for superficies licenses in the Liivi 1 and Liivi 2 sea areas.
According to Sorainen, these licenses are required to place electricity production installations on the seabed and to secure ownership rights. The combined capacity of the planned Liivi 1 and Liivi 2 wind farms exceeds 2 gigawatts.
