Ellex has advised early-stage investors Superangel and Specialist VC on their participation in Lightyear’s USD 23 million Series B funding round led by NordicNinja.
Lightspeed, Metaplanet, and a number of angel investors also participated in the round.
According to Ellex, Lightyear, a rapidly growing investment platform operating in 25 countries, aims to make investing across Europe more accessible and transparent. The newly secured funding will help the company accelerate its product development and continue its geographic expansion.
Earlier in 2025, Ellex advised Superangel on its investment in Kraken Technology Group (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on July 2, 2025) as well as on its participation in the USD 20 million series A round for Labrys (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on June 12, 2025). In 2021, Ellex advised on Superangel's investment in Ringo Eco (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on November 12, 2021), in FleetGuru (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on July 22, 2021), in ParcelSea (reported by CEE Legal Matters on May 11, 2021), and in Vok Bikes (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on January 25, 2021).
