Havel & Partners' Veronika Dvorakova and Ivan Rames have become Equity Partners, while Lenka Stikova Gachova, Michal Smrcek, and Josef Zaloudek have been promoted to Partner.

Sorainen has promoted nine new Partners in three different countries. Estonia's Kaido Kunnapas and Katlin Krisak, Lithuania's Simonas Skukauskas, Monika Malisauskaite-Vaupsiene, Evaldas Dudonis, Kazimieras Karpickis, and Indre Sceponiene, and Belarus' Ann Laevskaya and Kirill Laptev have all joined the Sorainen partnership at the beginning of 2022.

Cartel facilitators are viewed as possible instruments for undertakings to disguise their restrictive agreements and to get around competition law obligations. The approach that enables third parties to be held liable as “cartel facilitators” under the EU competition law dates back to the 1980s, when the European Commission (“Commission”) decided for the first time in Italian Cast Glass that the third party, which was not active in the affected market but enabled and assisted the implementation of the restrictive behavior, was jointly liable for the cartel.

Tsvetkova Bebov Komarevski has changed its name to Tsvetkova Bebov & Partners, following the departure of Ilya Komarevski. Aside from the new name, the firm announced that Victoria Tzonkova and Damyan Leshev were elevated to Partner, while Eleonora Mateina was appointed to Head of Competition and Pharmaceuticals.
