Sayenko Kharenko has advised the European Fund for Southeast Europe on a EUR 10 million equivalent loan in Ukrainian hryvnia granted through its Ukraine Sub-Fund to ProCredit Bank.
According to Sayenko Kharenko, the financing is aimed at strengthening access to capital for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Ukraine – particularly agricultural producers and companies investing in modernization and resilience. In addition to the loan, the deal includes dedicated grants for eligible end-borrowers under the EFSE USF financing-linked grants program, designed to secure business continuity and ease financing conditions for companies impacted by the war, especially those lacking collateral.
Earlier in 2025, Sayenko Kharenko advised EFSE on EUR 20 million financing to Ukrgasbank for Ukrainian MSME support (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on July 9, 2025) and on a EUR 15 million MSME financing for Bank Lviv (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on July 4, 2025). In 2024, Sayenko Kharenko advised EFSE on a EUR 10 million financing to Bank Lviv (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on July 18, 2024) and, in 2023, the firm advised the European Fund for Southeast Europe on a EUR 4 million MSME financing to Bank Lviv (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on October 20, 2023).
