Cerha Hempel has advised Permissionless Technologies on its successful USD 1.5 million pre-seed financing round led by Draper Associates.
According to Cerha Hempel, the company operates in the decentralized finance space and is currently developing the United States Permissionless Dollar, a decentralized, permissionless stablecoin designed to promote financial accessibility and resilience. The transaction involved the spin-out of Permissionless Technologies from Morpher, a Delaware-based company founded by the same team, as well as the issuance of both common and preferred stock to early-stage investors.
The Cerha Hempel team included Partner Oliver Voelkel and Senior Associate Bryan Hollmann.
