Cobalt Advises Hansab Group on Acquisition of C2 SmartLight

Cobalt has advised Hansab Group on its acquisition of a majority stake in Finnish smart lighting company C2 SmartLight.

According to Cobalt, Hansab Group, with over three decades of experience in automation, security, and digital services, has broadened its service offering by entering the smart lighting sector. Founded over 20 years ago, C2 SmartLight delivers IoT-based, energy-efficient lighting control systems for streets, parks, harbors, and sports facilities. Its solutions serve more than two-thirds of Finland’s population and are trusted by over 180 public sector clients. 

In 2023, Cobalt advised on BaltCap's acquisition of Hansab (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on May 16, 2023). In 2020, Cobalt advised Hansab Group on the sale of its stake in Moya (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on February 21, 2020).
