Ellex has advised Vok Bikes on its USD 6 million series A funding round led by SQM Lithium Ventures. Sorainen, working with DLA Piper, reportedly advised SQM.
The round included the participation of existing backers Metaplanet, Specialist VC, Sunly, and SmartCap.
Vok Bikes is an Estonian urban mobility company specializing in electric cargo bikes. According to Ellex, the company produces four-wheeled electric cargo bikes purpose-built for urban logistics, offering a sustainable, low-maintenance, and maneuverable alternative to delivery vans. The funding round is aimed at accelerating expansion across Europe.
In 2021, Ellex advised United Angels VC and Superangel on their investment in Vok Bikes (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on January 25, 2021).
The Ellex team included Partner Antti Perli and Counsel Rutt Vark.
