Greenberg Traurig has advised GoldenPeaks Capital Holding on the senior and junior financing for the construction of its solar photovoltaic portfolio in Poland. CMS reportedly advised the lenders. Clyde & Co reportedly advised GoldenPeaks as well. Fieldfisher and Wardynski & Partners reportedly advised junior lender Berenberg.

GoldenPeaks Capital is an independent power producer and trader focused on the turnkey development, construction, operation, and delivery of solar energy.

The financing was arranged by a banking group led by Siemens Financial Services through Siemens Bank as the global coordinator and mandated lead arranger, along with mBank and Bank Polska Kasa Opieki. According to Greenberg Traurig, the project financing also includes funding for DC upscaling capacity of the portfolio assets and is supported by a long-term corporate power purchase agreement.

The Greenberg Traurig team included Partner Piotr Nerwinski, Counsel Justyna Jamrozy, and Junior Associate Aleksandra Grzeskowiak.
