Gecic Law has launched a Sports Law practice group led by Senior Associate Vuk Lekovic.
According to Gecic Law, "the firm’s attorneys have long been active in advising and representing clients in the sports industry, from football and basketball to media and entertainment. By consolidating this expertise into a dedicated practice, Gecic Law ensures a multidisciplinary approach that leverages the firm’s strengths in competition law, regulatory affairs, intellectual property, corporate law, and dispute resolution, all tailored to the unique context of sports."
Lekovic has been with Gecic Law since 2020 when he joined as an Associate before being promoted to Senior Associate in 2022. Earlier, he worked as a Case Handler for the Commission for the Protection of Competition in Serbia between 2018 and 2020. Earlier still, he worked for the National Bank of Serbia between 2014 and 2018.
