The funding round also included participation from Yapi Kredi FRWRD, Finberg VC, the Technology and Innovation Fund managed by the Turkish Development Investment Bank, Maxis VC, and Turk Telekom VC.
Gelecek Etki Fonu is a Capital Markets Board-regulated venture capital fund co-managed by Tacirler Asset Management, a Turkish asset manager, and Vestel Ventures, the corporate VC arm of Vestel, part of the Zorlu Holding group.
According to Turunc, OctoXLabs is a cybersecurity company offering a unified platform that consolidates asset data to maintain real-time inventory, identify security gaps, and automate controls.
The Turunc team included Managing Partner Kerem Turunc, Partner Esin Camlibel, Managing Associates Naz Esen and Beste Yildizili Ergul, and Associate Ovgu Kopal.
