KWKR has advised Digital Ocean Ventures Starter on the approximately PLN 1.85 million investment in Flathub, the company behind Gaius-LEX. Heart Legal advised Flathub and its founders.
The investment was made with the support of the European Funds for a Modern Economy and also saw the participation of business angel Vladyslav Muzhylivskyi.
According to KWKR, Gaius-LEX is an AI-powered legal assistant designed to support lawyers and law firms. The funds will be used to accelerate Gaius-LEX’s development and international expansion.
The KWKR team included Partner Paulina Opielka, Senior Associate Pawel Machowski, Associates Katarzyna Mikosz, Dominik Korybalski, Kamil Stengert, Anna Bartosiak, and Joanna Kik, Junior Associates Sandra Murdzek and Maciej Ziemianski, and Intern Milena Taciuch.
The Heart Legal team included Managing Partner Jakub Koziol and Associate Mikolaj Kowalczyk.
