Fort Legal has advised Axiology on obtaining a license enabling the company to operate as a depository, exchange, and broker in Lithuania.
According to Fort Legal, the license makes Axiology one of the first entities in Europe to obtain such a comprehensive regulatory approval for a DLT-based trading and settlement system. The license significantly streamlines the issuance, registration, listing, and trading of bonds, reducing settlement times from the traditional T+2 to near-instant execution.
