Soltysinski, Kawecki & Szlezak has advised Axpo Polska on an energy storage services agreement with EDP Renewables.

According to SK&S, the agreement was signed with Farma Fotowoltaiczna Budzyn, a special purpose vehicle within the EDPR Group, for the development of a 60-megawatt/241-megawatt-hour electrochemical storage facility in the Wielkopolska region, scheduled to launch operations in 2027. Under the terms of the long-term contract, Axpo Group will oversee the commercial dispatch and balancing services of the BESS, applying its pan-European experience in flexible asset optimization.

The SK&S team included Partner Tomasz Mlodawski and Senior Counsel Krzysztof Wos.
